Program Description

Lens the Podium is a subsidiary of Lens Foundation which is an initiative to empower teenagers between age 11-19 by helping them develop public speaking skills, discover their potential, and build self confidence. Through this bootcamp, Lens the Podium aims to equip young individuals with the tools and exposure they need to express themselves effectively and efficiently.

Lens The Podium integrates sign language awareness into our public speaking curriculum. We believe communication goes beyond sound — it is expression, connection, and understanding. This cohort includes exposure to basic sign language principles and promotes inclusive communication practices for both hearing and non-hearing communities.

Everyone between the age range of 11 through 19 are the direct recipient of this initiative.

The program is a 3 months virtual training that cuts across different skillset to help sharpen your public
speaking skills alongside a sign language classes.

There is a prize for the first place, second place and third place winners of the competition after virtual classes are completed.

This is a completely FREE program for every participants. Sponsored by Lens Foundation and other partners.

Lens The Podium introduces participants to the fundamentals of sign language as part of our commitment to inclusive communication.
While this cohort is designed for hearing participants, we integrate sign language awareness to broaden communication skills and promote understanding of diverse communities.

Each participants needs the right mindset, the zeal to push through and the longing for curiosity.
